Trailer tongue jack

Help! Does anyone know what the tongue, hitch weight is on my T2553? I need to change it back to a manual crank but, the trailer is now in Rhode Island and I am in Ma. I want to buy one while I'm home. Thanks!

Dave

This may help. I did weigh a loaded 2006 T2553 for tongue weight, Scroll down the list

http://www.sunlineclub.com/forums/f7...hts-10765.html

That said, many of the manual hand crank jacks are 2,000# rated and is pretty standard. You really want the jack to have lots more power then the loaded tongue weight. When you hitch up the WD hitch, you need to lift the back of the truck some which is more then the loaded tongue weight.

Hope this helps

John

Jack

Thanks John, that's just what I needed to know. The 2000# rating should be fine.
