Tail Light Lens for 1988 Saturn

Both of the tail lights are missing on my camper. I have looked at pictures and noticed that the lens has a clear section on the face, centered near the top. Do these have back up lights? I ask because other wise... it would blind the person following you.

Your other post we talked about the back up lights that do exist on some of the older campers.

I take it you are looking for the lens?

By chance is there a Bargmen part number stamped in the part left on the camper? We can help look if we know which ones you have. They have stopped making a lot of the older Bargmen stuff, but after market places have started picking them up since there are lots of older fixtures still out and working.

If there is no number, post a pic so we can see. Or maybe another member can identity it.

Hope this helps

John

Are the whole lights missing, or just the lenses? If you have the base, you could just replace the lens, but that's risky if the lights have been exposed to the elements, they are probably corroding and won't work well.

Yes, you did probably have backup lights originally. Sunline had that standard for a few years, I'm not sure why they didn't continue it.

The original light is a Bargman #91 series, which isn't made anymore. However, the Peterson V25912 is the direct replacement for it, looks basically the same.

You'll need one with the license plate bracket and one without, and the license plate one goes on the left side.:

The original clearance lights are Bargman #99 series, which are still made and available. Chances are you need or will need some of these- these lenses, and housings for that matter, get very brittle:

Thank you very much. I went to a dealership and they have the lights. They consider it old stock. Said they seldom sell. Lucky for me!

Awesome! Yeah these are things to stock up on when you find them, before they are no longer available. The clearance lights for 1992 and up Sunlines were discontinued and are hard to find now, unless you can find the aftermarket replacement.
