Hi Billbowhunt,

Welcome to Sunline Owners Club! Glad you found us and bummer on your tank damage.

The question you are asking is common about the repair and Yes! it can be repaired. If it is a crack, that is easier. If a 12" hole is missing this gets more complicated.

See theses threads with pics etc which may help. If you need more ask away as many here have done this. I myself have not had to do this yet so I cannot give you 1st hand experience just know where to start.

If you find you need a new tank, let us know as there are places to buy them or have them made for you. Some more digging but I know where to start the dig. You will need the exact dimensions and port locations. The vent and toilet hole may be cut in's but the 3" dump port to the out dump hose may be pre-molded.

Hope this helps, good luck and let us know how you made out.

John

PS. Your question is a good one for the FAQ Articles section in the FAQ forum since it comes up often. I will later add this topic and links.

Thanks for quick reply

Got the ref links and will try the patch but will also start the replacement black water tank search also. I understand there are posts about that and I will check them. Any shortcut are appreciated. Staying in Tucson 2months and RV repair place said it must be special ordered and will be 6 to 8 weeks to get the tank special made. That is a long time without one in an RV Park!

I'd try to drive up to Arizona RV Salvage in Phoenix, since you are relatively close by. They might have something you could use. You could probably call them first and see if it sounds like they carry tanks or if they could even check sizes for you first. Here is their contact info:
