Yes, I do remember that... However I have never seen one in person rolling down the road or even parked... Boy does that bring back old time memories...

Last night my wife told me that she was talking to a couple she knows and their daughter is driving one for the next year. Apparently there are 6 rigs and driven on a year contract. Drivers are on the road for a year with expenses paid, I didn't hear a salary number.

One stops at a grocery store (United / Market Street) in Amarillo now and then and spends the day. I've seen it a few times in the last 7or 8 years. Always brings a smile to one's face.
