Recurring problem

A couple months back I posted about a "plastic" taste I traced to my water supply hose. I cleaned it and the problem came back within a day. I bought a new hose and, lo and behold, the foul taste was back. Before you say it, let me tell you that the water is fine if I pump it from my on-board tank, which was not filled via the supply hoses in question.
So, the logical conclusion is that both hoses are defective (read: shoddy, cheap). The supply hose on my pop up has never given me a day's worry so I know a good hose is out there. I can't recall where it was purchased. Unfortunately, hoses have no brand names on them and all three hoses look and feel the same.

Can anyone recommend a brand name of water hose that I should look for?

Thanks,
Teach

I don't know the brand but whatever they sell at Camping World seems to be okay. I have 3 of them and have used them for 4 years, no bad taste.

And CW and Good Sam have fully hooked up and I can get the hose w/o paying any freight. I might do that!

Thanks,

I suspect those are probably the Apex NeverKink hoses.

On a recent trip one of my fresh water hoses started to leak at the fitting. I'd only used it about 4 times, as it was an extra section in case the spigot was far away. I drove to a K-Mart a few miles away for a new one. I found a Camco Brand hose that has brass fittings and is made in the USA. I bought 2.
