Questions about twin beds..

Have any of you seen or owned a 2363 or 2653 w twin bed rear? Wondering about the storage in the BR area..any drawers beneath the beds? shirt closets? Wardrobe? I would possibly be interested in either model even back to a 1999..Janalee

Usually twin bed models have either a full height wardrobe closet or at least a nightstand between the beds. I think the nightstand was more an '80s thing and the full cabinet in '90s and up. It'll have overhead cabinets unless early '90s where it has cabinet beds above.

I don't believe there are any drawers underneath, but don't quote me on that. The water tank is probably under one, but both will pick up sideways (with a gas strut) to access underneath. One or both probably has a hatch door from the outside too.

The 2362 and 2652 are definitely rarer, but sometimes it seems like the twin models tend to be taken care of more than the regular full bed models.

Our early 1990s 2364 (?) had the bunk house in the back. It had a full length wardrobe between the bunks. We used the extra upper bunk for storage, and you can fit a ton of stuff on a bunk!

The wardrobe on the 2653 is in the hall opposite the bath. It has double doors with a large drawer underneath, enough storage for two adults. Mine had the double bed so I can't speak to the under-twin storage question.

We had a '94 Solaris, I think the 2653, with the twin beds in the rear. The bed on the right had the water pump, tank, and heater under it. The bed on the left was all storage with no gas strut. Perhaps it had one when new, but I never saw signs of hinges or hardware. Lots of storage, but no drawers, you just lift up the plywood and mattress.
We now have an 03 with the queen bed, and I hope I never have to work on the water pump or heater. It looks like a booger to get at.
