Question..1999 Solaris T-2363 Drain Valve

Just purchased a 1999 Solaris T-2363. Can anyone tell me what the valve to the left of Water Heater Door does? I thought water heater was drained at the heater itself, but this is a white plastic valve to the left of water heater door. ThanksAlso how do I check for any reponses to this question at a later date. I'm very new to this forum stuff. Thanks again for any help.

That location and description sounds like the fresh water tank drain to me...

When you put fresh water in the holding tank via the door fill on the side of the coach (probably above that area), it goes into a tank under the bed. You then can use that valve to drain the remaining if you need to.

To operate the valve, it twists. There's an inner part inside the main casing. When looking straight down at the top of the valve, looking toward the ground, I believe it will turn counterclockwise to open. The extreme open and closed are basically where the handle is closest to the side of the trailer. Never leave the handle sticking out (like halfway on), because the handle/valve could get broken off.

For receiving replies, you can either check back as often as you'd like, or you should also get an e-mail notification that someone has responded. I believe this is set up automatically in your profile, but if it isn't, go to the user control panel (upper left, below navigation tabs and outline) and you can change the setting in there for your profile.

Jon

Welcome to the forum Featherock.

As Sunline Fan said, fresh water fill is there on my 2363. The spigot down low is the fresh water drain.

Gene, that picture is outstanding! It's one thing to show just the two fill points, but you also show the tank and both connection lines in the pic as well! Almost like a cutaway view...
