Pretty View out the Front Door

Traveling Through Northern Louisiana along the Arkansas Border, we ran into a crazy storm blowing in.

We pulled over to take shelter in a Truck Stop, and this was the view out our back door. Not a bad way to end the day

Very Nice

At lunch today overlooking Lake Cayuga, I again recognized how happy I am that we made the decision to take to the road. Life is about making choices, and to some measure taking risks. Outside of our children there's not much that I would trade for the last 8 years.

Continue to enjoy your trip west and a good Yelllowstone summer to you,

Norm and Ginny Milliard

Awesome photo, Pat. Just wish I were back out there enjoying it in person. Thanks for reminding me of all the beauty I had to leave.

every miles a memory

A very fine thought - every miles a memory.

It's so common to be flooded by wonderful memories of one's travels, it's one of the aspects that I had not expected from our RVing adventure. The second factor is the extra closeness that develops by spending more time together.

Definitely one of the disadvantages of most marriages is that we spend most of the day apart and are only together during the evenings. Now I'm not complaining about the nights but spending the day together develops 'the best friend relationship' of childhood.

Lastly, I'm always overwhelmed by how little we need to live, how small a space we require and of course how happy we are.

Bless RVing,

Norm and Ginny Milliard
