Outside cook stove

Can anyone tell me what connector (hose, fittings shelf etc.) I need to utilize the outside, wall mounted cook stove? There is a separate gas pipe going to this area that is now capped.
Thanks,
Rich

They usually came with a quick connect much like a air fitting except they had a shut off valve also. It it's capped you'll have to see what's under the cap to figure out what you can use.

The cap looks like a standard cast iron plumbing cap.

We had the same thing on the 2499. I never bothered hooking it up, but it is a standard cast iron gas pipe with whatever the standard NPT thread is. Our current Arctic Fox is the same, but is finished and ready to use. As Mainah said...

I'd go to a propane dealer and look for the parts which are brass so you need an adaptor to go between the black pipe and the female quick coupler and then a hose from the stove with a male end to connect to the female coupler that's now on the black pipe. A propane dealer should be able to make up the parts for you or try CW if you now know what to do.

Propane/Natural Gas Connector Kit w/ Shutoff Valve - Mr. Heater F276181 - Propane Accessories - Camping World Looks like it includes both female and male ends.

12' Propane Hose Assembly - Mr. Heater F271117 - Propane Hoses and Adapters - Camping World Probably not exactly what you need as it has product specific opposite end, but you get the idea.

The bar/bracket on the side of the tt was made for a seriously overpriced RVQ grille.

CW used to sell shelves that also fit this bar and my son has one, but I can't find them now. Try Google or search another supplier like PPL or Coast to Coast (any RV dealer).

Be aware that it is a low pressure, after the regulator, so most grills with a regulator on them will not work. I have a modified Coleman Road Trip grill, with the regulator removed, and it works well for us.

Henry,
Thanks for those links.
Just thinking, at about $70.00+ in parts, I can get about 23 propane cylinders like I've been buying. I think that gets me 5-6 years worth of cooking at the rate I've been using them.
I'll have to consider how much the added convenience means to me.

I have the pipe too. I have one of those grills, my dad got it with his trailer and didn't want it, but I never hooked it up to mine. RV dealer sold the valve at the time, was like $65 IIRC. Wasn't worth it to me, especially considering how little I use it.

I have the grill with hose and grill cover that came with our t1950. We never use it as it seemed prone to blowing out with any wind. Maybe something to do with being low pressure. Now use the Weber Q1200 and 1gal tank and love it.
