On the Road, Again

Hello Sunliners,

Well, I'll be on the road tomorrow afternoon headed to the Pigeon Forge/Gaitlinburg, TN area. Will be meeting up with 10 other rv'ers. We will be staying at Riverside RV park & resort in Sevierville, TN. This will be the 3rd East Coast Get to Gether for the MSN group " Open Roads Singles". I have been getting Sunny ready(slowly), need to load clothing and food, etc. Just put the battery back on last evening, turned on the fridge. Will do my usual complete pre-trip before I head head down the driveway. OH, yeah, gotta make sure I pack the dog food. Well, gota go out and drive my "YELLOW" coach for a couple hours.

Kitty

Have a great trip, Kitty and Pam! We *might* be heading up to Chickhominy Riverfront Park in Jamestown, Va. It is supposed to snow, and I am not all that excited about that, so we will see. Am I being a camping whimp?

Kitty, Hope you have a great trip! We love the Pigeon Forge area. One of our other hobbies is classic cars. We usually go to P.F. for the Spring Rod Run and the Shades of the Past show and cruise. The next time we are able to attend, we hope to take our new baby - the T2363. Deb

Hi Kitty,

Have a good trip! I was in Chattanooga last night and it was COLD, I mean low 30's with highs in the mid 50's. If you read this before you leave, take some extra winter clothes. I'm now in Tampa, FL, and I wouldn't say its overly warm here either. It was in the mid 70's when we stopped for the free OJ .

We were actually supposed to be pulling the car hauler down here to Florida, but everything wasn't ready to go in time, and I think it worked out better as a result. The wind was really, really strong. Even in a car it could be felt. I'm glad I wasn't towing through it.

Pam, same to you, grab some extra clothes! Maybe I'm overestimating the temps, but I did leave Michigan with 31 degrees and snow flurries and it took almost to Valdosta, GA for it to start warming up, and get sunny.

Jon
