Now what do I do?

Kitty was nice enough, to remove the electric fireplace from the cabinet it was in. I installed it in Sunny and will have the trim work for it soon. I got to looking around craigslist and found a 5,000w generator for cheap. I went to look at it today and got to talking to the owner (A retired railroader, no less..) After hearing most of the details of his 43 year career, we cleared a path to get the generator out of his garage. When I got to the door, I saw an electric fireplace sitting next to it. I asked why it was there and he said that he couldn't get the heat working.

I told him about the one I had trouble with in the 311SR and how I got it working. His reply to that was: "You are welcome to take it, if you want to tinker with it." He said that he was tired of messing with it and just wanted it gone. After loading up the Jeep, I headed home. When I got here, Kitty was still napping. I didn't want to fire the generator and wake her up, so I just unloaded it.

Shortly after that, she got up. I then remembered to bring in the fireplace and got a "What IS that?!?!" from her.... I turned it around and told her I got it for free.. I got a skeptical look in return....

I plugged it in an fired it up... The fireplace portion looks better than the one in Sunny and the heater portion of it works great! She handed me a tape measure and it looks as if it might just fit! Now I am wondering if I should un-do my fireplace mod and re-do it again, or not.... Decisions, decisions!!!
