Hi Jon,

I see you have solved the water trapping Darco problem! Doing the bottom in truck bed liner!

The floor looks great. Keep the good work coming.

Thanks for sharing.

John

The truck bed liner should certainly help protect the bottom from splash up and ground moisture, but any moisture from the top I suppose could still kill it. Even though I tried to coat the sides, the walls will attach there and I'm not sure if water sitting against it could penetrate it over a lot of time. It might need a few coats to be truly waterproof.

For reference, the 76x108" floor took about 3/4 of a gallon to coat, and I have a couple thin spots to touch up yet.

Hi, looks like theres a lot of photos missing that were in many of the posts on this thread.
I have a 1979 21RB.

The colors and strips are all the exact same as yours. I wanted to either touchup the stripes or paint over them altogether, fresh. I wondered how you went about matching the colors on your front window shield.
Thanks in advanced!

Hi,

On the pics question, I can help maybe. Sunline Fan will need to answer the colors etc.

I just went back trough all pages of this post. All the pics seem to be showing. If you cannot see them, or only part of what looks like them, tell us about how you are viewing the forum?

On a phone, a PC? and which platform/operating system? A phone may mask off some of the pics due to the high amount of bandwidth needed.

Yeah I'm not sure what's wrong with the pics for you. They all show up fine to me. They are hosted on this site in my profile album, so it's not that there's a third party website issue.

The paint colors were matched by an automotive paint supply shop. They have a scanner thing that will go onto a sample and basically scan it for the color, and then they made up a quart in each color for me. The colors on the rock guard are the same as the rest of the trailer, the stripes are just narrower than the rest of the trailer.

As for the design, a lot was there and just with no color. When I removed the fiberglass piece from the rock guard frame, the edges of the striping were still on the edges and told me which colors went where. So between looking at the brochures, old pictures I've accumulated over the years, and those traces of what was left, I recreated the design.
