WOW................. They look really good.

Mine came out darker, however it all depends on what piece of wood you compare it to in the camper. Some match right on, like the drawer or fridge fronts others the wood is lighter, like the door panels. Point being in the lighter woods the graining and board itself changes. In the darker cherries the differences are not so pronounced.

Here is a quick shot of earlier in the week's "shelf" This is also on pine not maple.

Thanks for sharing your doors. I have a few places to put them and for the price it's hard to beat. Yours has raised panels, do you know if they would make the flat recessed panels? All ours are flat. I think the raised panels came in 2006. I can't remember if Hutches 2005 had flat or raised.

Thanks

John

John B, You are actually better off with the doors you have as they make that exact style. You will also have a choice of hard or soft maple. We chose the hard which may be why we had so much trouble getting the stain to absorb into the wood. Maybe you'd be better off with soft maple, especially since your stain was formulated for pine. (also soft) Sherwin Williams used the back of one of our doors to color match, so they had the exact wood. I'm not sure why they had the stain so light and not quite pink enough. They did well...but just not quite perfect. Like you we tried a couple of the stock Minwax stains that we had sitting around in the garage, that looked like a good match, and those were a disaster!

We have the flat panels in our 2005, so Sunline must have brought the raised panels back in 2006.

I remember our 1998 & 1999 Sunlines had the raised panels in Oak.
