Need 1979 Sunline skylight

I just got a 1979 Sunline 8 SDR truck camper which was stored inside for 26 years. It needs a new skylight over the cab bunk. The whole thing is screwed in with a frame, screen and crank to open up for air.I think it best to replace entire piece.Any ideas where to get something that would fit in?All it really needs is the outside plastic which is cracked but it is rivited to the base.Thank you

sandycane,

Welcome. I believe you may be describing a typical 14"x14" vent. If so, it is a very common part.

This is just one source. Your local RV dealer/service centers may have in stock or you can find online several sources. Even your Walmart may have or you can find it at their online store, etc.

Search - roof vents - Camping World

This page has a selection of options over and above the standard vent 14"x14" roof vent as well.

If your vent isn't the typical 14"x14" then your search may be a bit more challenging.

Pictures of unit can be very helpful.

Need help finding light wiring harness

I can't figure out how to post a new thread here.On my 1979 sunline truck camper I can't find where the light wires are.I am new to all this, just bought this camper last week and never had one before.I was told by an RV dealer likely wiring harness plugs into my truck by the tow hitch but I see nothing anywhere.
