My daughter's swim team

My daughter Hannah has been swimming competitively for the past 4 years. Last year she was in 7th grade and invited to swim on the JV team. She qualified for sectionals last year at a varsity level and earned her varsity letter. This year she is swimming on the varsity team. She is doing great. She has even won her events at a few meets. Last night was the last meet of the season and the team won. They went undefeated in their division and 8-3 overall this year and they are the division champions for the first time in 10 years. I know this isn't camper related but I'm just so proud of the work her and the team has done.

The coach didn't have much of a choice. The team is faster and stronger than he is.

Here's a followup. Sectionals were last week. The team did great. They they came in 3rd in the county. That's the best Hilton has ever done . The best before this was 5th.

Hannah made finals in both events she swam. She ended up 12th overall in the 200 freestyle and 13th overall in the 500 freestyle.

Now she's back to swimming with the club team. I asked her how it's going to feel swimming with girls her own age instead of high school girls. She said it's going to feel slow.
