I've been trying to get on at work.....................I thought they were trying to block access but it's the same here at home. I tried to PM Hutch but I could not get it to work..............had to go back and find an old email he had sent and use it. Hope it is just temporary!!!!! Marshall

Same here, slow at home and work both. Hopefully it's just spring fever.

Assuming we are all on the same page (subject matter wise), I also have noticed a gradual increase of download time of the Sunline Club website. I don't think it is a PC problem as all other web sites that I click on pop up faster than you can blink your eyes, so--not being a computer geek, I wonder why it takes so long, as much as a minute to down load this site. If I click on a post to read, that also takes forever to download. Perhaps someone has some good hints on this subject
Jim

PS. When I completed this post, I clicked on "Preview" and it took two minutes for my post preview to appear.

I have also noticed the loading of the Sunline site to be very slow this past week. Also, the orange coloring does not always appear on sites with new posts.

DF5.4 is an unknown quantity at this point
Lately I've come onto the site and I'm logged out. I have checked the log in automatically box. The problem is that after I log back in everything is marked as read. If I click on "View posts since last visit" it is blank and I have to go searching for whatever is new since I was last on. This is happening on both my computer at home and my lartop. Is anyone else having this problem?

I am having the same problem. Never see posts when I click "view post since last visit"

Also, the same problem with staying logged on every time I sign on.

I have to sign on every time and look the the colored envelopes to read posts.

I am on DSL and it is very slooooooooooooooooooow on this site to download.

Does anyone have an answer

Ray

We just got a new 'puter, as our old one finally died (hey, it was 10+ years old....) and the site seems to be flying along well.

then again, we went from 512K of RAM to 2 gig.....

Hi Everyone! Are people still having problems with the site? I"m not seeing anything on my end, but I'll contact our web developer if there continue to be problems. Let me know.

Sarah:

Yes, it's still been showing Gremlins ....but, it's been more intermittent.

Load times varying from instantaneous to excruciating.
Login not staying up even though the box is checked.
When you re-log in it doesn't Mark unread items.

Well, anyhow even with the gremlins it's still my favorite site and trailer

Sarah,
Most of the time, but not always, the site is so slow as to be almost unusable. Suggest you contact the web host- this may help, but if the host is just a reseller, the only solution may be to look for a better host. Probably for more buck$, sigh.
Regards and thanks for your work,
fkeenan

Sarah,
The only thing that seems to be a problem is the forums. As far as files or pictures, they still load very fast.

P.S.- Once I collect the money for the M&G t-shirts, the club will be getting a nice donation.

Yes Sarah...still having problems here also - on the forum side of the site!
Extremely slow and as stated at times you can log in and not be automatically logged in as indicated! (Did that make sense?)

Can't thank you enough for all the work you have done with the site and yes even though it is slow - it is my favorite!
