Keys for the storage compartments.

Our camper got delivered today, new keys for the doors, but no key for the storage compartments...anyone know where I can get one other than the dealer....i was told its a number 751 which it would seem is the same on all campers if i believe the sales guy.

Every single RV I have owned the keys I had fit them all they are not what I would call secure. Half of the ones on mine when I bought it did not work any way I replaced them all with key less latches. I my case the only thing of any value is a couple beat up chairs and a couple bottles of propane. I would bet any RV dealer would have what you want.

Yes, the ch751 key is what all trl mfg use for the compartment doors. You could go to the internet and buy them or if you have a friend with a trl borrow their key and go to a locksmith and have him make them for you.

My 3 compartments came with unique locks and keyed alike but 2, 751 keys were still included on the ring even though they fit nothing on the camper. I guess old habits are hard to break.

For a 280SR, yes, it'll be a CH751. Older ones, like late '80s and older, do not follow that rule.
