It Happened Again

Today I went out to Tiny (The Trailer) and found 3 of the ropes that hold down the tarp untied. This is the second time in a week. Understand, I was a Boy Scout and in the Navy so I know how to tie a line. While I was out there I re-assured Tiny it won’t be long and I will take him from under cover and then head to our camp in the Adirondacks. I also mentioned the Meet & Greet in June. Needless to say he still wasn’t happy. I can understand he is probably suffering from Tarp Fever. This is something usually only related to humans; we know it as Cabin fever. I have to sympathize because I am feeling a bit of fever myself and I know it isn’t the flu. I also mentioned a few of the upgrades I am going to give him this spring. He rocked a little bit and then stopped. I am going to assume this was a bit of a happy dance. So for now I will need to be more vigilant and make the inspections more often. If this rope action keeps up I may need to mention I am thinking of going to a warmer climate next winter, maybe that will get both of us through the winter.
Just thought I would share; Frank

Now that's funny....

Yes, the winter blues get even longer about this time of season. Spring can't come fast enough.

Nice to know we aren't the only household that refers to their things like people. Poor Snoopy (our trailer) looks so forlorn right now! But Bernie (our Bernum Boiler gas furnace) is loving all the exercise he's getting this winter LOL

Lol I wish I could get that close to mine! Over a foot of snow came last weekend, and I'm not about to trek out there.

I was inside a couple weeks ago when it was nearly 50, it was awesome.

Thanks for all the replies. We got about a foot last week but then it warmed up a bit and with a day of fog and then some rain We are down to about 6 inches. I hope we are over the hump at this point. Although last march we got close to 3 feet the last week of the month. LOL

Hi Janalee: Glad you had a smile from it. That was the reaction I was hopping for. Just an up date- The weather hear has warmed up in the 50s. Tonight it is 40 degrees. Things with Tiny are holding on with the warm weather. I went over to see him today and he is quite content. The ropes are as I left them so I gave him hug and a pat on front awning.

Hi pagroundhog It won't be much longer now. I think we are over the hump. Are you coming to the M&G IN PA this June? Frank

LOL...that was quite cute Irishman. Not to rub it in, but it was in the 70s here today with a repeat in the forecast for tomorrow. I think Spring is right around the corner, or at least I am hoping.

Cute, let’s hope your little Sunny doesn’t decide to take a field trip on its own! We have the common RV infliction known as “hitch itch” and camping is the only known cure. Only 3 more weeks ‘til Daylight Savings Time but the state park campgrounds don’t open up in mid-April.

Wannabes: Thanks for the reply; I think he will be OK. I have him off hitch trained. He is also blind folded, with the tarp on and the front awning closed he can,t see where he's going. Kinda like hobbling a horse. LOL
