I need opinions on remodel or not to remodel

Hello everyone!
I have an 85' T 2101 that I picked up last fall for a steal. I replaced the floor d/t soft area from a HW tank leak, and am replacing HW tank. My biggest question is do I remodel the interior? It is in great shape, no odors and was loved by previous owners. I have all receipts and paper work from every little thing they have done.
The interior is the original wall paper, cushions , curtains and the original chair from the "bedroom" is still there. Do I risk it's resale as a "Sunline" if I change it up? Or is it best to keep as original as possible. Also. Was considering painting outside and redoing decals/ striping since it's faded. But what is that color?? Lol. Would painting white be a no no?
I would greatly appreciate any feed back.

Lynda

Oh boy. That is a very good question.

1st. I think you should take lots of pictures and post them. Then after I see them maybe we talk about you selling me your unit. That could solve your problem.

I had to leave the post above before I could finish my thoughts on your question.

I happen to really like the looks of the older units from the '80's esp.. I like the fact that many had lots of windows and I like the squared frame jalousie windows. I like the "peachy/tan" color and the graphics were OK.

I would like to have 2 1980's era T-1550s. One in really good shape in all it's period decor and one that could be a candidate for a make-over. The make-over would bring things up to a more current unit with things like solar panels, more batteries, larger holding tanks, etc. for boon-docking and such. Also personalized interior fabrics, materials, etc.

To me a white trailer is just so common. Almost all trailers are white now with crazy graphics. That said see what bdichristina did as well as others.

for a make-over, check their albums: bdichristina

I have pics in my album of the interior. But I'm having issues right now seeing anyone else's albums. I hear what your saying about white being common, just haven't a clue what color it should be. Everything inside is in great shape so nothing HAS to be done just wondering what others think about freshening it up.

It's an 85. I would keep it as original as possible.

Agreed on keeping it original. I've see. Too many people do what they call restorations when they are far from. As I suspected back them, there is growing interest for the original look.

Also, to find the original colors of the striping, remove your entry door. You'll need to replace the putty tape with new when you reinstall, but there will be a little bit of striping covered up under the door frame that you could use for a sample.

If you need help with any other colors, let me know.
