Don't feel lonesome - we've got a serious case of cabin fever and between tonight and tomorrow, we are supposed to get 6-9 inches of snow here in Indy. And our temperatures have been averaging 20-30 degrees below normal for this time of year. Its got to end one of these days.

Jim,

We're supposed to get that same storm as you. I've been sick of seeing this white stuff for too long now. 14 days until I'm out for the first time this season!!!!

Our first "official" trip is 4/11- 13...but I may have stopped for a quick nap while doing some quickie mods. I will be doing this tomorrow as well.

That kind of counts as camping, right? Sure there's no shore power in the lot, or water, or ability to use the head.... but it's all good!

Yes the camping upgrades or anything camper fiddling helps the winter blues. Feb 3 was our last weekend that we could get out camping due to the weather. I know you folks up north are still buried and we count our blessing every time we go camp in the winter.

Last weekend the temps where really great. Sunday especially it hit 57. But Saturday there was too much ice and snow left over and I’m not one to even attempt to tow the TT in that from the get go, so home we stayed. Put roof vents in the camper instead. Figured this weekend we could get out for sure. And today was great. 47.

In fact last weekend it was so nice, we carried dinner out to the camper in the yard and ate inside…it was cool.

Now, Fri and Sat we are going to get hit with the white stuff big time. Biggest storm of the season. Seems IN, MI, OH and PA are all getting the same one. You know, while on Sunline Club we are all willing to share most anything and glad too, but you can really keep the white stuff over your way….no hard feelings…

Hope you all get out soon. At least we have Cyber camping.

John

I'd take that snow, if I could trade it for some of the ice and freezing rain we've been getting! Haven't had enough to even go sledding; DD played in a large box of packing peanuts tonight and pretended it was snow.

She's ready to go camping! We sat in the camper Wed evening and read books and put together 2 small puzzles. She asked me when we could go; I think the middle of April will be our first opportunity. Still seems far away....

We here in Southern Ontario would really like to have some warm weather as well. I have to say however that I am of two minds on this. Those who know me would have trouble believing I could be of two minds on anything but when the warm weather gets here I have the tough job of keeping bugs off my big rig that I drive all night. Soooo Stay cold and easy clean ..no camping Get warm and we get bugs but use camper Oh what the heck I vote for the warm . Looking forward to the trip south in April / May. Some nice wea5ther would be could before hand to prep the TT. John it is nice to have the camper in your own yard eh

Oh how sweet it is!!! I know I have it fortunate as most have to have theirs in a storage yard either due to space or zoning. For me, that would be very hard to do. But if I had to, I still would.

Hey Ted, winter (Less the snow and ice) is no bugs at the camp grounds. And not a lot of crowds either....
