In other words; how many forum members are needed to change an electrical component consisting of a transparent or translucent glass housing containing a wire filament (usually tungsten) that emits light when heated by electricity?

Unless it's a discussion about changing out to LEDs

Why would they change their own lightbulbs/light bulbs when the economy requires we spend money with others for things we could do ourselves. We all know it is Bush's fault the bulb went out in the first place so can we get government assistance to cover the costs? Does the discussion include changes that require a ladder or only those that may be reached standing flat footed on the floor? Where does buying a lamp, instead of replacing the bulb, to furnish illumination come into play? Is there a link to the bulb changing site or should we all Google for it?

Have we forgotten that we need to be sure and hire a qualified and licensed electrician? Does he/she have experience, references and fully bonded and insured? Has the wiring been checked, to be sure it can handle the load? Has the entire RV been sufficiently inspected, per RVIA specs? Has the RV been so heavily modified, that the 30AMP should have been replaced with 50AMP a LONG time ago?

Is there a sufficient number of golf cart batteries, to handle the power output of the solar panels that are attached to five sides of the RV?

In any case, the proper tools are necessary for any job.. We just hope JohnB is willing to share them with us!

Don't forget the contact cleaner to clean the socket, WD40 to resist future corrosion and duct tape to hold the lens cover that was busted while taking it off. If the hardware store is closed, call JohnB.

Gary and Jim LOL I see Gary is still using up his new set of funny icons....

I can tell ya, the guy in the video never changed a light bulb on the outside of a Sunline.... at least the newer one. The light bulb is a snap, but getting the lens cover off is an operation until you figure out the trick of how it comes off and you need more then your fingers...
