Hitch Coupler Lock

Any recommendations for a hitch coupler lock? I tried a C.T. Johnson lock from Camping Word, but it was too short. My American heavy duty padlock almost fits. Thought about reaming out the coupler just a bit, but thought it might weaken the coupler.

Thanks,

Wobbly

Hi Wobbly,

Here's the coupler lock I use,

It's either the Huskey or Fulton lock, can't remember which one, but that's the style.

Works and fits great with the Hensley Hitch.

Wobbly,

I've used that exact one (the Fulton) and have had many years of good use. I actually have quite a collection because I bought some and then bought more when my local dealer got a batch in with the same key. I've used them on all the trailers, on all coupler types, and I've never had a problem.

Thanks for the recommendations!

PS It worked like a charm. With all these keys I may need a key cabinet like the one shown at the end of this video sketch:
