I'm fairly close to the Hershey Show, but didn't go this year. We really didn't see any need to go since we have exactly what we want.
Before finding the Sunline 5er we looked at several other brands at the RV Show in York this spring. We ordered a 2007 Wildwood 31RKBS but changed our minds after about my third look at it. The price was good but the quality was only so-so. Then we looked at the Brookside and the Bristol Bay by Sunnybrook, that our favorite local dealer sells. It's where we bought our T-295sr used. The Brookside is the mid-grade by Sunnybrook, one step up from the Sunset Creek. The quality is fairly good and the floor plans are nice for the $$$. We were very close to ordering a new 349 FWSB when we found our F-304SR. The 349 is all but 35 foot and the dry weight is 1400 lbs lower than the dry weight of our 32 foot F-304. The frame on the Sunline is so much heavier than most of the other 5ers we looked at in our price range.
Our local dealer of choice also carried the Northwoods line of trailers; Nash and Artic Fox, as did the dealer in NH where we bought the F-304. They told me that Northwoods closed their production facility on the east coast and that all of the units will now be made on the west coast. Thus raising the cost of shipping to the dealer and the cost being passed to the consumer. Both of them told me that they had to drop the line due to this increased cost. Both dealers were telling me that they hated to loose the line because they felt they were a good quality unit.
Overall I'm glad that I have a trailer that I plan to use for at least 10-12 years, maybe more.
