Here I sit just waiting!

We are all packed and ready to go, but DH does not want to leave until the morning!

Trip is only about 2 hours from here, and I wanna leave now!!!!!

I'm going to start the "pleading" act soon!

Wish me luck!

Well my pleading did not work....so we leave at 6am on Thursday!

Listen to the Dear Husband, who wants to drive in the Dark? It's so much better in the day light hours when you can see what you're passing.

Go to bed and wake up fully refreshed and ready to go.

Have fun

Pat

Hi Kathy;

I drive truck and am always ready to get up and get out but my DW will say lets wait till like, when ever. We wait enjoy the trip and both decide who knows what traffic problem we might have missed. I do agree with you though sometimes it is hard to hold back. We plan our first drive away camp out near the end of June. It is to a Provincial Park 35 minutes from our home. We have been camping on our side yard most weekends if the weather is mild enough. Dewinterized the TT this week and it is all good now.

Well we are back home again ! Left at 7am on Thursday arrived around 10:30am - set up and just enjoyed the weather! 90+ temps with lots of sunshine!

The trip (both ways) was uneventful (thank goodness).... and DH of ourse was right - he is not a fan of driving at night - yet if there is an ambulance call, he thinks nothing of getting out of bed and handling it - he tells me that is because he has Routes 28 & 12 etched in his mind!!!! He has taken over 1000 calls in the past few years!

Can't wait for our next outing....not quite sure when that will be - but thinking Father's Day weekend!
