Hello

Hello Friends of SOC,

Sorry for my absence here on the club forums. I must admit I have not been on-line for quite a while. We have had a tough winter. JL’s Dad had passed in December. He had a tough time with heart disease and dementia. He had hospice care but her Mom required a lot of help from us to take care of him. I have learned a lot during this time and gained new respect for the wonderful people of Hospice. I do not know how we could have managed with out them. Don’t know if I will ever get a chance to retire, but if I do I am seriously considering volunteering for them. Things are getting better; in fact we are preparing for a trip to HI for some R&R, (yea).

I have a lot of reading to do to catch up. E-man in Cedar Key, wow we were there many years ago, nice area. I love the new items on the forum; I know you had me in mind for the “Eats on the Road”. I know of a few dives to post there. Looking forward for the snow to melt and un-cover the coach for some camping, especially the M&G. I wish everyone a very happy camping season, see you down the road.

Regards,
MM

Welcome back MM...

I also wish to offer our condolences for JL's father.

I haven't talked to you yet, that I know of, but I have heard a lot about you. Kitty mentions you, whenever we talk about decals.

Again,

Welcome back!

MM,

Welcome back.

I, too, would like to offer condolences to you and your family.

Hospice is a wonderful thing. My father, grandmother, and mother-in-law all received Hospice care. One at home, one in a nursing home and one in a Hospice Center. The care they (and family members) received was so much more than a hospital could offer. Thank you for considering volunteering with a very compassionate group.

Again, welcome back and enjoy your trip to snowfree Hawaii!

Hi Jay,

Glad to hear from you! I'm very sorry to hear of your loss. Hopefully the trip to HI will be just the break you need, and hopefully it is somewhat warm there too!
