Had a non-towing scare today

I have been working on a very, very "special" project for probably over a month now, lots of hours involved and taking pictures as I go. Well, I went to a greyhound meet n greet today, and as usual, I took my camera Well, I'm not quite sure how, but it got dropped (more like a tumble) about 8 inches to the floor. I pick it up turn it on, and tried to see my pics that were on the memory card, NOPE Camera was saying some crap like images saved to the internal memory, say what I didn't save them to internal anything. Well, waited til I got home to diagnose it a bit more, it DOES HELP to pull out the directions I check the internal memory and NO pictures there, shoot, they are gone Now, remember I'm blonde, I decide to remove the memory card and check it on the card reader, and DUH the memory card had just popped out when the camera fell, I pushed it back in and ALL my needed photos are still there .

AND NO I CAN"T TELL YOU WHAT THE SPECIAL PROJECT IS

Kitty

OK you can tell us, but can we "see"??

A picture is worth a million words.....

Hope your camera is OK. I have about 3/4 of a gig of pics trapped, Most Sunline related on a camera flash card. I flipped the camera off or bounced it while it was writing to the drive and it is now locked in a file that is called "corrupt” The file must of not closed right and now I cannot open it

John

John,

Thank you for the concern about my camera. So far it appears to be fine.

Better load those VIPs (very important pictures) onto your computer. You wouldn't want to lose them!!!

Morning Pam,

Your so right about the pictures. They are coming off the memory card today. I have made up my mind to head out to Sunny and work on him today. I have been working on this project for at least 2 weeks or more, and Sunny has been neglected. So I'm gonna spend some time with him today. Maybe it won't be 98* and humid

OH, I thought I was not arriving at Buttonwood until friday, just checked my reservation and I am arriving thursday, YEAH.

But, now I have lost 1 get ready day here at home

Yes, I can sympathize with you about the "corrupt file syndrome". It has happened to MANY people, even wedding photographers and other pros. Losing unrepeatable photos is definitely one of the "wonders" of digital photography!
