Greetings!

Hello all , just bought my first travel trailer ever, A 1996 Sunline Saturn T-2251. I bought it primarily for my buddies hunting camp so it will be somewhat permanent when I get it there. Needs some general TLC. ( soft spot in floor, some rot from an old leak.) Anyone else have one?

Welcome!

Your information conflicts a little bit though. There isn't a '96 Saturn 2251. If it's a Saturn, it would be a T-22B, which is the twin floorplan to the Solaris T-2251. But it could be 1992-1994 and be a Saturn 2251.

Jon

It says Saturn on the back but the floor plan is set up like the Solaris T-2251. So I assume I have a Solaris T-2251. I bought it to do some minor fix up and repair and take it to my buddies hunting camp for permanent installation.

Well
I just confirmed in my owners manual that it is indeed a 1996 Sunline Saturn T-22B

Yup, the 22B is just like the 2251. The Saturn variation just has a few less options in it, like no tank monitors, radius corner windows, upgraded furniture, etc.

Sorry to hear you found more leakage. That's not fun. Hopefully the rot damage won't be too extensive of a repair.

Thanks! I don't even know the first thing about repairing the leak. I figure I can just reseal the roof. I hope to find some answers here !

Resealing the roof is a good start, but it doesn't fix the damage already done.

Here's a highly referenced thread on floor repair. The 2670 here is like the Saturn 26C (like your 22B is like a 2251) and the back half is basically the same as yours except for the dinette there. The kitchen/bath/bunks is all the same.

And a continuation, in the front of the trailer:
