Cracker Barrel restaurants

I learned on my resent trip that Cracker Barrel restaurants allow overnight RV parking in most of their lots. I was even given a brochure of all RV friendly locations across the nation which is updated every 6 months. I was treated very graciously and was advised on where to park so the night cleanup crew could keep watch.

We have stayed a number of times at Cracker Barrel restaurants. The map that you can get at the cashier's desk will indicate which ones welcome RVs. When we arrive (late in the day, always after about 4 pm), we go inside and let the cashier or host know we will be would like to stay the night and ask if we parked in the correct area. They will let you know the relevant details and welcome you. We always eat dinner or breakfast, sometimes both there. Many times the Cracker Barrels are located close enough to a fast food place that has wi fi, so you can get wi fi during your stay. So far we have always felt secure at Cracker Barrel.

Thanks for the tip Jim. Didn't know this. I knew Cracker Barrels where RV friendly for parking, just not for overnight stays.
