I do not know of a governor but I know of a generator. I think you have the wrong G word. LOL.... Meaning the tube that changes the liquid into a vapor.

I have never had to change one. There are You Tube video's of guys doing some however I tried this on the Coleman site.

I have a Dual Fuel Coleman but if you select which one you have it shows the part breakdown and the generator.

Coleman - Repair Parts: Dual Fuel

Once you know the part number, then you can search the web or buy from Coleman. Amazon came up with several just I do not know if they fit yours.

Good luck and hope this helps

John

I would try new fuel first. They do sell Coleman fuel now in quarts. If the fuel has been in there for years on end, it may get stale and gummy.

Good luck

John

From the Coleman site: "An un-opened container of Coleman® Fuel stored in a dry area with no rapid extreme changes in temperature will remain viable for five to seven years. An opened container stored in the same area will remain viable for up to two years though will be at its best if used within a year. Coleman® Propane Cylinders can be stored indefinitely in a dry area. The propane fuel inside the cylinder will not break down....

Another helpful FAQ from that site is: "You can sometimes remove a buildup of lacquer from insider you liquid fuel lantern or stove by pouring out the fuel in the tank then filling it about halfway with denatured alcohol. Do not use rubbing alcohol as it has water in it and do not pump up the tank or open the valve while the alcohol is in the tank. Let the lantern sit for 24 hours then shake the tank and pour out the alcohol. Rinse the tank with clean Coleman® Liquid Fuel and refill with fresh fuel."

I found that information on the coleman site in the FAQ section. Find Answers

Hope that link works.
