Any one looking for a bigger camper?

Well I was camping in VT last weekend and ran across this little gem just the thing for a big family. It is a Spartan I think it's a Executive Mansion all 45' of it made around the mid to late 50's It was brought to the campground in the early 60's and has been there ever since. A year ago I did get a tour porcelain bathtub full size gas range lot of dark wood work it's huge! The owner did say it most likely will be buried there when it dies.

Neat little campground in Arlington, Howlle's. The owner is the one that originally started in the 60's and she still is out there every day doing something at the tender age of 83. Mostly seasonal but she does have a few short term spots. Get this $25 a night with hookups!

Well it's on No name road! There is a road across the st from the Arlington Inn and the gas and go one block over, when it turns to dirt your on your way to the campground through the marsh it open to a vista of the mt and the large campground pond.

Beautiful! Spartans do have quite a loyal following these days. Definitely better built than an Airstream.

Yeah an aircraft co. started building them after the war pretty crazy they run from couple of hundred dollar backyard finds to 10's of thousands for a pristeen one. I can't imagine what that thing weighs even being aluminum.

I think the only way they could sell it would be for it to remain there. Seems like some pretty good size trees (lots of them) would have to be cut to get the thing out! Not to mention a bunch of other campers would have to be moved. It arrived there in the 60's and hasn't moved an inch since then! I tried to find out just exactly it was and never did I think it's an "Executive Mansion" that was the closest looking one I found. If you think you need one there are a couple of sites for Spartion's the prices are from a couple of hundred dollars to 10's of thousands then of course you'll need something like a Peterbilt to haul it.
