Amazing Sight!!

We pulled into Cottonwood Arizona for the Christmas holiday to see the biggest full moon rise out of the hills behind us. Thought I'd share a cool sight with all of you.

Take care and Happy Holidays

Pat

Gee Pat, your truck is longer then the moon.... Or the moon is about to drop on it....

That is one cool picture. What time of day with it? There appears to be a lot of daylight left.

Thanks for sharing.

John

It was actually dark outside, but with the long exposure needed to get everything to turn out, it made the sky look pretty pink and the halo behind the mountain jump out!

I posted it on a photo site and a bunch of people said it was huge in their section of the country tonight also. Must be this time of year?

Another really nice shot and candidate for next year's calendar!

Did anyone notice that Mars could also be seen next to the moon a couple of nights ago. It looked like a start but the color was distinctively orange.

Thanks for sharing with us.

OK Pat,

Enuff Already !!!!!!

Ya just got to rub it in
Thanks for posting all the wonderful photos, even though it sorta depress' me CAUSE I'M NOT THERE WITH YA :P
Jus' kidding about depressed, but do wish I was following right behind ya.

You have been seeing so many wonderful places, many of which I have been to. I'm glad to see that you & Cindy are having a wonderful time, and so far no major problems. I don't count the tire issue as major, cause ya knew they were due to be replaced anyway.

Plese keep posting the wonderful photos so we can all eat out hearts out

Travel Safe

Happy Holidays,
Kitty

THanks Kitty, in NO WAY am I trying to rub it in. I just know that when we were stuck in the snow and couldnt be camping, cool shots of others who were able to do it was what got me through the winter months.

I'll try and keep posting some every few weeks as we find new cool places.

Thanks
Pat
