Almost a departing member........

Folks.........

After enjoying the Que for almost 2 years & 25,000 + miles..... we decided we might have downsized a bit too much from the 2363 (I, for one, began to feel a need for at least a dinette for comfortable sitting arrangements). At the same time..... we wanted to stick with the Tacoma tow vehicle. And immaculate-condition ultra-lite and larger Sunlines aren't readily available.

A trip several weeks ago provided an unexpected alternative..... and in northern Minnesota we traded the Que for a barely-used '08 22' Hi Lo.

So we will be withdrawing from the Owner's club. We have greatly enjoyed this club's uniquely upbeat, helpful, and sociable batch of members. Since we joined, Hutch & others have previously made it clear to everyone that the club is open to Sunline owners, former owners, and just fans. And after 3 Sunlines over 20 + years....we qualify for that.....but it just wouldn't feel right. Although we can move on with great memories and good feelings about the group.... being a Hi Lo owner in the midst of such a batch of arch-loyal (but friendly!) Sunline enthusiasts just wouldn't feel right.

There probably is still one very well maintained Que 5.4 SE on the lot at Ted's RV Land in Paynesville, MN, if someone is looking.

So.... thank you, everyone. We'll wave to any Sunlines we see on the road!

Frank & Sharon

Frank & Sharon:

I'm sorry we won't get to hear from you in the future. It would still be great to see you at next year's M&G at Buttonwood if you haven't cancelled your reservations. We would be interested in touring your new TT. Enjoy your new HiLo.

Well, I will also chime in to say it's sad to see you go. I have found your posts informative and well thought out.

I hope you enjoy your Hi-Lo, and that you keep us informed on how it performs for you. The hardside "popups" are pretty cool, after all- We helped a family set one up as a thunderstorm was rolling in here in MA this year- they got a steal of a deal on a Trailmanor- we were shocked at how nifty it really was!

And I'll add another +1 to come to the meet and greet anyway- it IS a good way to show off the new ride .

Happy Trails!

Greg

Frank & Sharon,

I have 2 things to say to you.

1. Don’t withdrawal from the club.
You’ll always be a member of the club, no matter what you own.
and
2. Don’t cancel your Buttonwood reservation.
First year it was Sunline Fans parent’s motor home, this year it was Lee’s Cedar Creek FW,
so we need a token SOB (some other brand) at each M&G.
2009 might as well by your Hi-Lo.
Plus I’m expecting a tour of your Hi-Lo next year and I’ll be very upset and disappointed if I don’t’ get it.

Hutch

Folks.......
We appreciate the posts and messages..... It didn't take too much arm-twisting to convince us to accept alumni status in the Club. Besides...... who could resist the chance to be a token SOB (see Hutch's prior post)?

We'll be at Buttonwood next year.

Thank you.

Excellent! Steve and I will anxiously await the HiLo tour We can certainly understand the need for a little more space than the QUE offered. Now I have to admit...we went a little tiny bit overboard with the Tweety

Frank, I'm glad to hear you've decided to stay. Whether a Sunline or HiLo, there's so much in common that I'm sure you'll find a lot of good suggestions and tips that will still apply.

Put me on the tour list next year too, but please, only in the "Hi" position .

I'm glad you decided to stay. This club is similar to the camping clubs that existed when I was a kid. It doesn't matter what TT you eventually end up owning, you'll always be welcome once you're a member.

That’s great Frank, now we can still have a card game going at Buttonwood.

The sad reality is that eventually many of us will end up with “SOB”. If RV’ing is to continue in the future, new innovations may attract many of us to SOB. It is good to develop this group with Sunline being the common denominator no matter where we end up.

Regards,
Jay

OK, everyone....

Hmmm. Photos

Let's start with my admission that I can't do much more than write emails & research info on my computer. Therefore, I've recruited my son to help me set up things so I can insert photos here (I won't tell you how often I've failed at this in the past).

So I'm going to do past and present while I'm doing this, and send out 2 past Que photos, as well. I don't have interior shots.

1st...our Que SE at home.

2nd...our Que in Colorado in '07.

3rd...Picking up the HiLo in MN in 9/08 (TT down).

4th...HiLo at home 11/08 (TT up).

................that's past & present.

Frank
