I have no personal experience but have read that this can be a problem. Some folks have rebuilt/repaired their original refrigerator inside the camper.

Sometimes the fridge doors can be removed and it gives you a few more inches. And the plastic on the top that hides the screws you hold it on by.

And some have had to remove a window to get it in or out. That is if your has a window big enough which may not be on a 1550

When you said frame removed, did you mean the entry door frame or the fridge door frame? Both can be removed to give more clearance. Somehow Sunline got it in there and it was after the roof was on.

Hope this helps and let us know how you made out.

I ran into the same problem with my 13 1/2RH. I believe if I had removed the camper door frame I could have got the refrig out, I ended up replacing the cooling unit in the camper.Good Luck

You can replace the cooling part as it comes off separate. No need to remove the whole box from the camper.
