2007 Que SE

Just happened to stumble on this site and glad to be a part of it, We bought our Que last Feb.06 at Elizabeth RV in Colorado and pulled it home to Oklahoma, we sold the house in Oklahoma and just last month pulled it to Pensacola Florida, All in all it's a great little TT and they pull great with my little V-6 I've seen some posts about the Mission tires and I've had no problems at all in about the 2000 miles we've went with it, Sunline was great we didn't have a dealer near us in Oklahoma and any updates to the cabinet latches or info they shipped it right out to us free of charge and even sent gifts on several occassions, Where ever we go we get people wanting to know more about the Que, so we proudly have no trouble showing it, The majority are impressed with the Euro design and mostly the sink stove combo, But anyway It's nice to have found this site with those of the same interests, Any get togethers in the Pensacola or surrounding areas you can count us in.

I love the Que. My husband and I drove from Georgia to Pennsylvania to get one at a great price then while at the dealership, decided we are too fat and old so we purchased a 1950 at the last minute. I absolutely love the Euro design and attention to detail of the Que and will more than likely always wonder if we made the right decision.

Happy trails.

We bought it sight unseen last year when they were first introduced as in my post the nearest place we could even look at one was Colorado, and it's great for the 2 of us and our dog Missy, we haven't regretted one second of buying before we even got there to see it.

I'm so glad to hear you love your QUE. We've yet to get ours out, since we just bought it for ourselves for Christmas ! Any tricks you've discovered? What about pulling the bed out every night..isn't that a pain?
Pam - I had wanted the 1950 or 2363 for years but we can't tow it, so ended up with the QUE, so you & I are wondering the opposite...I wonder if we should have upgraded the tow vehicle to buy the 1950 ! Guess we'll find out when we camp in the spring. I can't wait to try her out. I'm so done with winter right now, & seeing QUEtSE in the back yard every time I look out the window is making winter seem to last forever.

Quetse'

You would really be done with winter if you lived up here, east of Lake Ontario! We only think of camping because we can hardly see our 2553, it's buried.

But they tell me spring is just around the corner.

Pam,
No pulling the bed out isn't that big of a deal, as for towing you can't beat it, i have no trouble running 70 down the highway with a V-6 and manuverability is also great with them towing threw a busy city or backing them up, set up is also very quick with them, As a matter of fact we just opened ours up today it's about 70 here in Pensacola so we are getting the itch to get it out on the road with in the next week or so. But i'm sure you will be very happy with it as we are

Dave,

Congrats on the purchase and welcome to the group. We looked at Sunlines for almost 2 years and when we heard the bad news about the factory in November we knew the waiting was over. On Dec 1st we brought home our new 289 and put it away for the winter. Let's see, how many days 'til spring? Then add at least 30 more up here.

Heaton, where in Lewis county are you? We're near Copenhagen. Real glad we don't live in Parish this week with their 88" of snow.

Mike

Mike,
Thanks for the welcome,we know all about those winters we are originally from Wisconsin and left there in 02 for Florida, then we got tangled up in hurricane Ivan and went to Oklahoma for 2 years and just moved back to Pensacola last month, So hurricane season this time we are prepared and heading north to a Wal-Mart with the Que till it passes .

Mike,

We live in Beaver Falls, which has less snow than Copenhagen.

Hi all,

The hubby and I just bought a 2007 Que SE, the last one in that dealer's inventory. Love it, I think it will be perfect for the two of us. We tow it with a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited.

Congratulations ! We went to the RV show in Valley Forge today for something to do, & the small trailers that we saw didn't hold a candle to the QUE. I guess you can take yours out right now in Las Vegas area. We'll be waiting another 2 months here for the weather to cooperate

Folks....
I'll admit PA weather this year is MUCH milder than those further north....but I really can't wait 2 more months to try out the Que we bought in early December (downsized from a great 2363). We're starting a shakedown run to FL in 2 weeks. Getting ready to pack.

You downsized from a 2363? Wow...tell me why & maybe we'll never trade up. I always thought my dream retirement trailer was a 2363 or 1950. Have fun in FLA & keep us posted on how you like your QUE

Downsizing to a Que....

Pam...

In 2006, we downsized to a smaller home... the kids were grown and gone, and we wanted less house to care for (and more time on the road). We had the '05 2363 and really were impressed with it.

We were trying to decide if we would ultimately have more fun with a smaller (easier to fit everywhere) RV, as when we'd started (1970-Scotty 18' Highlander).... or with the room and features of the 2363. We hypothesized that in the future, a smaller TT:
=>would require less of a TV..... help cut travel costs, and the savings would leave us with more cash for RVing.
=>would be quicker & simpler to hookup, maintain, and travel with.

Sunline's closing forced our hand several years earlier than we had anticipated. Our dealer had a well-equipped Que SE on the lot for months without a nibble..... When we inquired about it..... we ended up with an unbelievable trade-in offer... and took it.

Now for the shakedown (departing the 24th).

Dave, Kathy....
Thank you for your generous offer... which I'd accept if we hadn't already made arrangements to the east & south of you.
Hope to see you somewhere down the road!

Well we figure getting to Florida itself is a long haul and the state of Florida from north to south is another long haul so i seen on another site one time where it's members get on a list so members traveling threw an area would have a free place to hook up for a night or two, I know there's times i would have appreciated a place to pull into so maybe this site to can create such a list so no matter where people are going they can have a place through out the country to stop off at along the way, So anyone going threw give us a yell cause we have enough room to put a couple campers up for the night.

Hello. This is my first post as a new member but with some past experience with Sunline products. I am seriously considering the purchase of a Que, if I can find one, but I have a concern about towing one with a small to medium SUV. Does anyone have any input relative to this concern?

Thank you,
Dave Mochel

Hi Dave,

Welcome to the forum! I can assure you, you wouldn't regret purchasing a Que, even though the factory is closed (at this time). There are many Que owners on here and hopefully one of them can assist you with your towing concerns. You will have to clarify what type of SUV you have and what engine size, rear end gear ratio, etc, that it has. Also, Trailer Life magazine publishes a Tow Vehicle guide in their January issue each year, and I think it is available on their website.

Jon
