The axel was moved, but my husband & I both think that when we toured the QUE at the factory that Larue said they moved it back. The tire takes up a part of the trash cabinet, and the trash cabinet was moved back. My trash cabinet is in the kitchen just to the left of the stove. In other words, standing inside the SE QUE it is to the right of the door. Our hitch weight is 300 pounds. I think the RE has a heavier hitch weight. We don't have a weight distributing hitch yet. We're going to see how it does without it first. It drops the rear of our vehicle about 2" but sits level with the right draw bar on. The whole rig looks nice and level, and it towed great the 5 miles home from Stoltzfus RV. Husband even swerved a little to see what would happen and it popped right back to true. We towed a 16 foot Sunline back in the 1990's and never had or needed the fancy hitch. I would be interested to know what everyone who has a QUE is using for the hitch.

David...
I agree with Pam on the history of the location of the trash bin....our Que SE's location is the same as hers.

I'm going to continue to use my Reese equalizer bars & friction antisway (I've had the same equipment thru 3 trailers now). Altho we've downsized trailers (the F150 5.4 is now complete overkill), I really prefer the slightly calmer ride one gets with the bars in place.

Athough....if I didn't already own 'em, I'd be where Pam is with hers... and wouldn't find them necessary with my TV.

I did have the bars put on mainly because they were thrown in along with the sway bar, i have towed it with and with our the equalizers and normally i end up useing the bars because of the load i end up having in my pick up so if they'll throw them in get them because down the road you may wish you had them, I also questioned the toungue weight when i was looking at mine and they told me also the axle had been moved to reduce the weight.

One other reason i'm glad i got the WDH is after i bought the Que i bought a fiberglass camper shell for my truck to kick some wind up over the TT so with the added weight i can still level my truck right out and get some weight on the front end no matter what i'm loaded down with.
