We've posted this before, but hopefully, new SOC members will see this thread here in the FAQ section.

Sunline never really produced a model specific manual for any of their trailers or campers. It was always a bunch of generic RV stuff like how to winterize, de-winterize, etc. All of that material has been scanned into .doc or .pdf format and is available in the Files area.

Not to worry about specific model year or model, either. Except for operating the hot water heater bypass, the 2004 manual will be pretty much spot on for your rig. Older trailers use a two valve system while newer ones use a single valve plus check valve system. Some trailers may not even have the bypass. There is a file in the Files area under Sunline Plumbing that describes all the various bypass systems in detail. The rest of the Sunline manual consisted of the various installation and operation manuals for the appliances, etc. Many of those manuals have also been scanned and placed in the Files area.

Manufacturers like Dometic, Atwood, and ShurFlo are still around and their websites offer some customer support in the way of manuals going back a number of years. If you need a specific manual, they all have customer support email addresses.

Every appropriate file from Dexter Axle has been scanned and can be found in the Files area. You will find bearing cross references, lube info, axle flip kits, the complete Dexter axle/brake maintenance manual, and more.

Check the “Sticky” notes at the beginnings of several of the forums. There is a lot of manufacturer info with links there to help you out.

We've been encouraging the members here who have older trailers and still have the appliance manuals to scan them and add them to the Files area.

Sunline did add one page to the manual for my trailer that was model specific. It is a single page that contains a detailed floor plan for the trailer and includes locations for a lot of stuff that is not mentioned anywhere else. For example, there is a master 30 amp battery fuse that nobody knows about unless you need to replace it and then it's a bear to find. This drawing shows it in the front left of my trailer. What it doesn't show is that the fuse box is on the floor of the trailer under the couch. At least it gets you looking in the right area. It still took a phone call to Sunline to precisely locate it. They started producing this page in 1992 or 1993. I have also scanned this page for my 1999 Solaris T-2453 and placed it in the Files area for others to use as needed. If you have this page for your trailer, please scan it and add it to the resources in the Files section.

If you need something specific that isn't covered by what I have mentioned so far, feel free to ask away in the appropriate forum. We are all still learning.

To our new comers to the site, the "Files" tab Steve is referring to is across the top of the screen called "Files". I know they look like part of the artwork but that are clickable tabs with lots of good info behind them. Here is a hot link Files Tab

I just reviewed all the sections in the Files area. It will be really helpful for everyone to know that the categories are not cast in stone. What one member might think belongs under Plumbing may actually be found under Kitchen. So if you don't find what you are looking for in the category you first look in, keep looking as it is likely in there somewhere.

If you need weights, tank capacities or other specifications, they are all to be found in the brochure for your model year. All the brochures are in the files area under

One other point....

I noticed some photos of manuals in the Photo Albums. While I applaud the effort, the photo area isn't searchable plus most folks would not browse through hundreds of trailer and vacation pictures to see if there are any manuals in there.

So I guess the solution is that all reference material needs to go into the Files area so that people can easily find things when needed.

The Files area will only accept PDF and DOC files (if I remember correctly.) So if you can not scan something into one of those formats but can photograph it, rather than post the pics to the Photos area, please send me the digital pics. I will convert them to PDF format and then upload them to the Files area. (Send me a PM for my email address if you want to do this.)

Part numbers for things like bearings and seals and most everything else are listed in several of these documents including the Owners Manual.

When we replaced our Sunline with a Keystone Cougar, we had some expectations that the owner's manual would be more useful. However, just as Sunline did, Keystone's manual is a one-size-fits-all generic RV manual that doesn't contain any structural or wiring or plumbing diagrams for specific models. Accompanying the manual is the usual pile of appliance manufacturers' product manuals.

I do think the Keystone manual may be of value to any first time RV owner. It is no more or less complete than the older Sunline manual. Here is the link for the manual for those that are interested:

Hello SOC. This is my first post and I hope I am in the correct forum. I have a couple questions. Where can I get an owners manual (not a brochure) for a 2000 T280SR? Also, Does this unit have "manual" slide locks? Or does the slide operate solely by the power slide button? Thanks Jim and Laura, Proud new Sunline owners

I have been downloading and printing the manuals for my specific camper and its furnishings as listed on this broadside pasted on the inside of the wardrobe door.



I have everything for each specific model unit except the range, The handwritten model number comes back with no hits on Google.

It appears to be 2V2132WIP or maybe W1P. Neither one gets me anything and I can't find it on Atwood's site. Anyone have any clue as to how to find a PDF file to download and print for this range?

Hi Dig,

I think I see the mix up. This part number 2V2132WIP. The very first number 2 is what I think is mixed up. If that 2 was an R, then the rest of the number looks a lot better. Using number RV2132 shows up as a Wedgewood range. I did not track down what the WIP means.

I have uploaded tonight the PDF out of my 2004 Sunline manuals. My 2004 T-1950 and the 2004 T-310SR have the same Atwood literature number 56282 in their manuals.

My T-1950 manual is missing the yellow sheet that calls out the range model number. I will have to check it on the stove tomorrow. But I "think" you and I have the RV series and not the RA series in the 1950. The burners are what is different. I do not have a pic inside tonight to check, but tomorrow I will.

If you use the RV2132 part number and then go to page 7 in the PDF I linked for literature 56282, look at the Wedgewood RV 2132 column for parts on your stove. And look on Page 6 for which style grates and burners it has. See if they line up.

Thanks, John. I had printed out document #51381 since that was all that I could find (obvious now as to why) but I have now printed out the more correct #56282.

It appears that my 1950 was built for the Canadian market. Lots of French on the other stickers on that door and all of the weights and measures are metric so I have to convert kilos to lbs, etc. Also, the two faded RV dealership decals are from a Canadian dealership. Luckily, I took two years of French in high school so none of it means anything to me at all since that was so long ago, my brain has stored all of that knowledge in the same place that it put Calculus and the name of my second grade teacher.

The W1P indicates Top Color (W=white), Door Color (1=white) and Top Burner Ignition (P=rotary piezo).

Interesting. For some reason a lot of the Canadian spec Sunlines stayed in the US market.

I'm not sure if it affects back then, but on the 2006/7 Sunlines, there's a household light switch in the kitchen area- this switch controls the microwave and electric element on the water heater. Apparently Canadian campgrounds don't have an electric grid capable of both? So they put the switch on to regulate and only let you use one at a time. It's sort of a three way switch, one way for microwave, one way for water heater, and in the middle for both off.

So if you have that switch, that's what it's for. The water heater will still work in gas mode with the microwave on, it's just for the electric element option.

Ah yes, the CSA models that Sunline made. Made to meet Canadian spec's. OK that explains the sticker. Never seen one of them before. Everyday on SOC we learn something new!

Thanks for the link to that Range Manual with the part number decoder. I have seen that one before. It's new from 2015 so that explains some why as I was never looking in the new stuff, our last Sunline was built in late 2006. I will add that manual to our files section. Good for others for the future.
