PM limit question

Currently, the limit on private messages is 100 total. I know messages can be downloaded to the users computer, but I like keeping them on the server. Doing this allows me to access them from my Blackberry, wherever I am. With a 100 message limit, I cannot keep them on the server. Is there a possibility of raising the limit to 300?
