I know we all love competitions!

See who can find the most changes in this pic...

Yes I was a bit bored tonight, I had the idea to make some changes. Not that they're all good, just what I think looks better.

Well, since it is somewhat small, here are two blow ups:

Jon

P.S. Sadly, there is nothing for the winner...sorry

That's because it got replaced with a Powerstroke Turbo Diesel badge!

It's not supposed to be a hint or anything, it's more like a distant wish...

The striping on the trailer, you got some of it, keep looking.

I'm actually very surprised about you John, you missed a significant change that directly deals with a lot of the stuff you do. I guess it really should have been that way from the factory then!

OK, I'm slipping... the pin striping on the rear cargo hole.

Here I was looking on the EX to see if you rotated the tires or something..... Is Mom's Ex the exact same color and pin striping and tires?

PS I see another mod you actually did on the camper. Boy we are gaining on you. It's upfront by the clearance light. That did not come from Sunline. This is what now, mod 5 or 6?

That's one of them...there's a couple more spots.

No, hers is all Mineral Gray with no pin striping and no accent color, and different wheels.

Oh yeah, I had to add that pretty early on. I initially wasn't going to, but the little level got to be a pain. It is indeed held on there by 3M adhesive tape (I don't trust the foam stuff, not to mention it's a pain to get off) and I have putty tape along the top edge. No holes were drilled whatsoever. I've been meaning to put one on the front, but I just haven't yet.

That was probably mod #3 chronologically speaking (1- HP DC, 2- fix the slide seal). I don't know what number I'm up to now, I'd have to really think about it!

You still haven't gotten the big one. I will give you a hint that it is on the trailer. I didn't do anything to the Ex besides deleting the V10 badge and adding the PSD.

I should relieve it of all credit for being a 4x4, but that's a story for tomorrow...

Jon

Jon,
I think it looks a lot nicer with the continuous striping on awning arms and rear cargo (that John found) and the refer vent (one for me - Yay!). You said there are a couple more spots but I can't find any others. I looked for your name that you were talking about adding when we were at Hillsdale, but don't see it.
Thought maybe you changed the hitch (quote to John: "significant change that directly deals with a lot of the stuff you do.") but it looks the same.
I'm usually pretty good at "spot the difference" puzzles, but I'm stumped. [/u]

OK now that is sneaky.....

The center of gravity of the TT has changed and so has the tongue weight if the same “stuff “ in the TT has never moved from the “before” location. OK that is all the clue I'm going to give now, see if others pick up on it.

With the new configuration the tongue weight has gone up. Which on this floor plan is really a mystery. I thought you where at around 1,200# the last time we checked it. Are you going to get more truck to hold it up, or did the guys doing the work goof and moved them the wrong way?

I can't believe I missed it the first go-round, but it looks like the axles have been moved back about 4" or so????

I know, I realized that after I got the pics posted.

However, there are two more spots of striping that no one has mentioned. They are pretty small, so it probably will be tough to spot.

Yes, the axles moved back was the significant change. I always hated how the trailer looks like the axles are centered under it. So I moved them back. In the first post there was something like "not all the changes are necessarily good", that was directly referring to this. Even though I think it looks better like this, I certainly wouldn't want to do it with the tongue weight already 1250...

Jon

I'm just now getting it. These are photoshop changes. None of them, even the striping, were actually done right?

That's cheating!

Naturally, I found this after the excitement was finished. What a HOOT!!!

I'll give it an 11.5 on a 10-point scale.

Well Jeff got the axle move.

Now to the 2 spots. If this is not it, then I'm going to have to advanced picture hunting.

You extended the pin striping on both doors. It shows up more in this far far away pic that is on the hinge side as the white aluminum is not showing as much. It may even be on the non hindge side. If this is it, I can see how it was missed. That strip extension is only like 1/2" wide if that and the pic is from 25 feet away...

So any more left???

Yes, I did extend the striping on both door frames.

The last place is a continuation of the striping onto the top of the water heater door, but I won't have any of you look because I could barely see it when zoomed out.

Hi Jeff,

Well, no. They weren't done in photoshop. I don't know how to use it all that well and I'm very familiar with paint, so that's all I used.

None of them were actually done, no. I've thought about it in the past though. Especially the striping on the reefer cover, I see a ton of RV's with nothing on them unless you get something expensive with full body paint. There's quite a few I see where the whole panel is in the middle of the striping, so I don't have that at least.

Jon

Jon,

I like the faux mods, but the rig still looks nose-down to me...

Oh it is, there's really no way to get the sag out of the rear end unless I have the jack down or have air bags... Believe it or not, the rear end is only down about an inch to an inch and a half if I remember correctly. I think the tongue height of the trailer is about the same as it started as or maybe as much as a half inch lower, I can't remember.

Jon
