That internal GPS chip's female voice kept screaming "That's Mexico, dumb..." , but I just ignored her and put it where the game wanted it!

I feel your pain. I tried it again, and the states pop up randomly. It would nice to get all the border states first!

Yeah, I've done it a couple of times and the order they come up in makes a big difference, get a couple of midwest/plains states without any point of reference and the error miles go way up!!!!
P.S. My kids are going to hate me, because the school board doesn't think that basic geography is a necessity anymore. But, they will be sitting down with Dad and this game for a little extra ciricular activity! If it isn't covered on the MSA (Maryland State Assessment)[Math/Reading in 3rd and 5th grades] test it isn't important. It amazes me how far behind "No Child Left Behind" has put our kids.

Hate to get off topic here, but Mack your totally correct about school & education. Personally, I see & feel that WAY TOO much importance is put on "sports" instead of education. OH Boy, don't let me go into the $$$$$$ wasted by the school systems.

That little game should be a part of every 5th grade curriculum! (at least that's when our kids learned states and capitols) It's very motivating. Took me about 4 tries but I finally cracked 90%, and now at the ripe old age of...um well yes...I finally know where all those middle of the country states belong. Someone should add the capitols to the game
