I don't really know what else to say, but maybe you could try contacting a Mass DMV, explain your situation, and maybe they can somehow verify it and you can then get a number for your FL tax office to call them personally.
Thanks for the previous location, from the pictures I figured it was somewhere out east.

wow, this does sound like my trailer. It is salmon and yes it has bright white new wheels you indicated. I need to find the owner that sold in on EBay then, in 06. The person they sold it to apparently sold it in 2008 to the person I bought it from, and I need a title. Do you have any suggestions .or advice. Thanks so much for your information and help

Unfortunately I saved those pictures so long ago that I never recorded a copy of the ad. Darn...if I had, I could contact the owner for you.
Maybe you could contact the person you bought it from, maybe they'd still have a bill of sale from them or something?
If the previous owner was told they didn't need a title and the owner before that did have one, maybe the previous owner still has that title?
Here's the number for the Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles: 800-858-3926 I'd give them a call, tell them you bought a travel trailer and you are in Florida. "The previous owner was told there was no need for a title here and therefore didn't get one, but I found in my county, this is the opposite. I was told he bought it from someone in Massachusetts who had a title, so I was wondering if you had a way to look up the the trailer by VIN to verify because the previous owner titled it as homemade with an incomplete VIN. I have done a pencil rubbing of the VIN on the trailer to reveal the true VIN, which I believe it was titled under when it had a full title."
I'd tell them all that and see what they can do for you. If anything, it may require a title search, which you might have to pay for.

Hi Ruskey,
Thanks for the submission! If you get a chance, I'd like to get more info from you on your coach.
First of all, your interior color (Forest green, Oasis red, Country tan, or Beach blue)
Second of all, all the blanks in top section of the document below. In addition, the Date/Time following "Printed" in the bottom of the top header, just above that line.
Thirdly, the final inspector and date on the bottom of this form:
Fourthly, the RVIA number on this decal, located near the entry door. It is a seven digit number with an "S" in front:
Fifthly, the date in the red circle here, which this sticker is on the sidewall of the coach in the front left:
Lastly, if you know the dealer it was originally bought at. Maybe there's a sticker left on it somewhere, or maybe it's listed in the owner's manual somewhere.
Thanks,
Jon

Hi Jon,
I cannot recall if I ever submitted my VIN to you. I was active on the forum when it first started and I have been in sort of a forced limbo for a few years. Regardless here it is just in case I never did.
VIN ####
Thanks
Bob

Just purchased a T2653 (VIN ####) for a very good price and it looks like it has never been used! I am interested in manuals, registration history, anything to do with this (or this model trailer). Also interested in finding sites within a few hundred miles with scenic views that allow TT's and RV's but are not rows of trailers like a parking lot.

Hi and welcome to the club.
I don't know where in NH you are but I would think the Lake Placid NY area should be less than 300miles. I would say Lk.Placid is app.100 mis.from the NH border.
We just came back from Lake Placid and found a campground that we will definitely stay in next August.... It's North Pole Campground (a Good Sam park & TL rated very high 8/9*/9) It has 2 sections which are .02 miles apart. The South section has Very Private wooded full hookup sites which is where we will stay nxt. Aug. The North section has more the avg. parking lot type sites as does the KOA a few miles away. The sites do not have scenic views (they are wooded) But Whiteface Mtn. is only a few miles away It's 2 1/2mis. to the Ski center. ( it's hard to find better views then from there) There is a lot to see in that area with lots of great views...

Hi Ed,
Congrats on your new coach! I have never had an entry for your VIN before, so I can't give you any prior history on it. It was built somewhat late in the model year though, very likely in April, 1999. It was about the third or fourth most popular model that I know of for the 1999 model year, as it's tied with the T-1950 at the moment. Depending on what options it has (SE fiberglass exterior, rubber ride axles, etc.), it will be more rare.
What interior color do you have?
What kind of manuals are you looking for? Appliance manuals can simply be found by searching for the make and model of the appliance, like "Dometic RM2652 Manual", which is a popular model 6 cubic foot refrigerator.

Hi there. I'm very new to this type of forum so I hope I'm doing this right! I picked up a 1988 Sunline Solaris a few months ago and the Veh. Serial No. as listed on the registration is: ####. I do have most of the origianl paperwork in the camper if you would like but I do not have the camper stored at my home. If there is any other info you would like I can try to provide it. Thanks.
Lou

Hi Lou,
Thanks for your submission and welcome!
Here's a few more things to look for, and their locations:
- You mention this is a Solaris series, is the model a T-2551? I see your coach is about 25' long. If you are unsure, take a look at the floorplan in the original brochure: (click on the download button here: Sunline Coach Owner's Club - Sunline Owner's Files - 1988 Sunline TT, TC, & FW Brochure)
- While you have the brochure open, what is the name of your interior color?
- On the sides of your coach, up in the front, near where you see the Sunline decal and the Solaris decal, do you see a decal that says "Classic"? If not, don't worry. The Classic package added hardwood/stained cabinet doors, among other things.
- There is a small oval shaped plastic tag near the main entry door, and in the center, there is a number stamped into the plastic. What is this number? If the plate is missing or unreadable (though the numbers are always very hard to read anyway), the number should be recorded on the top section of the Quality Control Certification sheet in your owners manual.
- There might be a sticker on the street side front that contains the VIN and weight information. It also contains a rough build date (month & year). What is this date? The sticker can either be a tan sticker about half way up the wall (and is commonly missing/deteriorated) or it could be a silver sticker down near the bottom of the wall.
- If you have the quality control certification sheet in your owners manual, what is the final inspector's name and signoff date?
- If you have the original order sheet that lists the chosen options (not serial & model numbers though), does it have a PO and/or Run number on there? The run number should be four digits, usually starting with a 2### or a 3###. I'd say of all the documents in the book, this is the most likely to be missing.
- Do you see any information from paperwork or actual stickers on the coach indicating the name/location of the original selling dealer?
Thanks,
Jon
